3 Tips For Staying Lean & Healthy After Honeymoon
If you’re new to becoming a wife, there are a lot of lessons you’ll learn in this new experience. It’s such an exciting time where you get to know yourself and your husband on a new level. However, you’ll quickly learn that new routines are inevitable. As you merge your lives together, there are some things you’ll have to become more aware of. Your health is one of those important areas to consider.
While you and your husband are in the honeymoon period, you might be tempted to drink lots of wine, rich pasta dishes and tons of desserts. However, this is no way to start a marriage. In fact, it’s the perfect way to dig an early grave. Whether you’re working to improve insulin resistance, lose weight or build muscle, maintain a health and fitness goal. This will help you to become conscious of what you’re eating and how you’re doing. It’s also a great idea to include these three tips.
1. Decrease your sugar intake.
Truthfully, most women aren’t supposed to have more than 25 grams of sugar every single day. If you take a look at the average soda, it contains way more sugar than that. It’s time to become more mindful of the amount of sugar you’re consuming. Start to treat sugar as an occasional treat. Drink your tea without sugar. Try consuming natural sugars that come from green smoothies and fresh fruit instead.
2. Eat more vegetables.
At each meal, try your best to consume more fresh vegetables. If you have to lightly sautee or roast them, this is okay to get started. However, you do want to try to get as many raw nutrients as you can. A large spinach salad with grilled chicken or salmon works really well. As you try different ingredients on your salads, they might become your favorite staple.
3. Drink more water.
As you drink more, you’ll begin to feel more energized and ready to go. Aim to drink two bottles of water in the morning, afternoon and evening. If you have six bottles of water, you’ll consume over 90 ounces of water every single day!
